Rusty Riedmiller

Rusty Riedmiller has been involved with soccer for over 15 years, and has been part of the Eastern PA ODP, Lehigh Valley Select, East Stroudsburg University, and DeSales University Soccer teams. He has extensive knowledge regarding goalkeeping as well as other soccer concepts and tactics.
In all four years of Riedmiller's college career, both at East Stroudsburg and DeSales, his teams won the conference championships. In 2003 while at East Stroudsburg Riedmiller his team recorded the most wins in school history while winning their 7th Conference Championship in a row. Upon transferring to DeSales Riedmiller's teams won three more championships and never allowed a goal in conference play-off competition. Riedmiller was also recognized as a first team all conference selection by The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) all three years at DeSales Upon completion of his career at DeSales he left with records for Shutouts (21), Saves (271), Save Percentage (.836), Goals Against Average (0.91), and Consecutive Shutout Minutes (437.53).
Prior to college Riedmiller was a standout soccer player at Stroudsburg High School. While in High School he earned all-conference recognition as both a field player and a goalkeeper. Before Stroudsburg Riedmiller played at all levels of soccer, the highest being the 1984 Eastern Pennsylvania Olympic Development Team for three years where he won the Region I Championship. Other club experience includes: Lehigh Valley United, Stroudsburg United, and ENCO.
Riedmiller is currently working towards his National and Advanced National Goalkeeping Certificates from the NSCAA. He currently holds these certifications: NSCAA State and Regional Goalkeeper Diploma, NSCAA Advanced Regional, NSCAA Regional, ASEP Coaches Diploma, and professionally trained in Perugia Italy with Serie A club A.C. Perugia.
Rusty graduated from DeSales University with honors as a Business Management Major and a Sports Management Minor. He was also a part of the NCAA Choices Program, and The Salesian Center Leadership Program.
Rusty currently serves on the board for the Lehigh Valley Coalition on Sports Ethics as well as being Director of Communication and Media for the Pennsylvania Stoners NPSL team.
