Charlie Pinto comes to the Neiman Sports Group, as the Sr. VP/Development and Administration, after a very successful Corporate career with a number of World Class Companies/Industries. Most recently he was Executive VP for Human Resources and Administration for OH Logistics in Nashville, TN. Prior to that he was SVP/HR for Infonxx (now KGB) in Bethlehem, PA, Regional SVP/HR for Caesars Entertainment in Las Vega, NV, VP/HR for PPL in Allentown, PA, VP/HR for American Express in NYC, VP/HR for Sprint in KC, MO, and VP/HR for Avon Products in Conshohocken, PA. Prior to that and getting into HR/Administration, he was a GM/Director of Operations (with full P&L responsibility) for a Manufacturing/Distribution Company of Avon Products in Newark, DE.
Charlie also brings a wealth of athletic and coaching accomplishments, during and after graduation from the University of DE, with a BS in Business Administration/Finance. He also earned a State of DE Teachers Certificate, in Secondary Education, while being named to Outstanding College Athletes in America. After playing football, basketball, baseball, and golf in High School, he continued on with Basketball and Golf, at UD. As the Captain of the first ever Conference Championship Golf Team, he continued on as an Asst. to the Golf Professional at Rehoboth Beach Country Club, in DE and playing semi-professional baseball and fast pitch softball in Salisbury, MD and Hampton/Newport News, VA. He assisted, as a volunteer Coach in Football, Basketball, and Baseball for over 25 years at Newark Senior High School in Newark, DE. In that capacity he participated on staffs that won 10 State of DE Football Championships (5 in a row), 3 State of DE Basketball Championships, while being runner up twice, and 2 State of DE Baseball championships. He continued on Coaching Little League, American Legion, and AAU Sports and continues as a Volunteer Basketball Coach at Southern Lehigh HS, in Center Valley, PA.
He was a member numerous committees for the Athletic Council of the University of DE. His mother and Charlie have endowed an Athletic Scholarship at the University of DE. He is married to Joy, his wife of 35 years and have four children, Charlie, Jr., Dan, Becky, (all University graduates), and Jeff, a Jr. student/athlete at DeSales University. Charlie brings a wealth of experience/expertise from his years of business and athletic success to the Neiman Sports Group.
